Dear Jon, Whats wrong with drilling for oil?

I am not at all surprised that the world’s most powerful officials would seek advice in this forum; as I have been saying all along, it is about time. Besides, there is no way for me to tell that you are NOT the Vice President, so to enter into the spirit of your letter, I might as well assume that you are, right? Your question, however, strikes me as being defensive in tone. I do not think you are taking this defensive tone with me, because as far as I know, I have not criticized your “Take No Prisoners” energy policy of environmental holocaust. However, it is possible that I might have and forgot about it, given that I normally spend about 10 minutes on each “Dear Jon” submission and it is all stream of thought.
