Dear 100 Hour Board, Why are the ESC doors made so hard to go through?
Dear Weaking, This is the second time we have answered this question in the last few weeks. This time, let’s just say that the newly remodeled ESC was equipped with doors that, in an emergency such as a fire, would automatically open. The motor and other hardware necessary to make an automatic door make it a little heavier and harder to open manually. It’s just like those automatic doors for the handicapped that you can push the button and they open. Trust me, you’ll thank them when you’re running for your life from the building.
