Schools Sport Commission has been established to oversee school sport programs. This commission is made up of educators of schools for the Deaf and reports directly to SADSF. The NLDTF makes funds available annually and schools are encouraged to apply for the establishment or upgrading of facilities. SADSF is also available to assist the schools with applications for funds if necessary. It is to this reason that the Schools Sport Commission was established. The late Honourable Steve Tshwete, once said: “A child in sport is a child out of court”. We fully agree.
