DCID 6/9 requires that intrusion detection equipment (IDE) complies with UL 2050. Does this equipment meet that requirement?
Yes, the SCIF Guard is capable of meeting UL 2050 requirements. Note that UL 2050 certificates are site-specific and require a UL listed monitoring station. For this reason, UL 2050 Certificates are required for Contractor Operated Monitoring Stations but are NOT REQUIRED for Government operated monitoring stations (e.g. Military Police Law Enforcement Desks) to comply with DCID 6/9 requirements.
