Data Qualification Q. Is data that is published in a SAND Report considered “qualified”?
No. The requirements for data qualification are determined by the intended use of the data. Publication of data in a SAND report does not, of itself, qualify data for any particular use. The nature of the QA Program controls that were implemented in the process of collecting and reporting the data, and whether those controls fulfill the data qualification requirements set by the intended use, establishes whether data is “qualified”.
