Data is not synced between the handheld and the PC for the software. What is wrong?
There are several possible causes for this problem: For Palm OS users… • If this is a new install, try installing the latest update to reinstall the conduit. • Click on the Hot Sync icon in the startbar (lower right hand corner of the PC screen). Click on custom, go to the Backup conduit. Verify the Backup conduit is set to handheld overrides desktop. Also, verify the System conduit is set to handheld overrides desktop. • Make sure the conduit for the product is set to ‘Synchronize the files’. • The application on the handheld needs to be stored on the handheld in RAM, not a memory card, for the conduit to synchronize the data. • If you have installed a new handheld, you will need to run the full install program again to update the data directory location. • The hotsync version should be 3.0 or higher for proper hotsync operation.
