Dancing Days at Hadassah Neurim. Who Are We?
” Hadassah-Neurim has established a Jewelry Design and Manufacturing Center. At the Center young students, whose average age is 16 to 18, are instructed both the theory and practice of Jewelry Making including design and production. The Hadassah-Neurim village setting provides a nice, quiet and creative atmosphere near the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, just north of Netanya. Most of the children who study and work in our program come from families with social or economic problems. The main goal of this project is to enrich the lives of these children and help them to find their place in society. They develop self-esteem by working in a creative and supportive environment, creating jewels of the best design and quality. The various skills that they are learning will help them to become fulfilled adults enjoying a good future and good life, because they can contribute positively to their communities.
