In cases where money is due to the State of Michigan or a garnishment / levy has been served to the State Treasurer, the amount of your payment will be reduced and payment will be sent on a paper check. For questions regarding money that you owe the State of Michigan please call the Department of Treasury, Collections at (517) 636-5300. You may contact the Department of Treasury, Financial Operations at (517) 373-3155 for any questions regarding your garnishment and/or levy.
