CW50 isn being detected when I plug it into USB; PC is asking for a driver. How can I install or reinstall the driver?
You need to install the software that was included with the CW-50. Please follow the below steps: CW50 CD Label Printer Installation Instructions CW-50 Installation on Windows98/ME 1) Install label printer software 2) Install printer ribbon 3) Remove card board spacers by ribbon 4) Connect power cable 5) Connect USB cable to PC and then to Printer 6) PC will display “New Hardware” wizard 7) Click NEXT 8) Allow the PC perform an Automatic Search 9) PC will locate multiple drivers on the Casio CD 10) Select the driver on the CD in the Driversw9xcw50.inf 11) Continue installation to FINISH If no driver found, go to My Computer and then, Tools>Folder Options>View. Make certain that “Show ALL files” or “Show Hidden Files” is selected. At this point repeat the above procedure until the driver is found.
