Currently, media specialists are not eligible for the Master Teacher Program. What is GLMA doing about this?

GLMA has met with officials at the Department of Education to discuss the inclusion of library media specialists in this program. We showed them the Georgia Performance Standards that we teach in elementary/middle/high, examples of assessments used with students, and discussed what they needed from us to make this happen.
