The PS3 uses regular firmware updates just like the PSP for this very reason. Sony is VERY aggressive in their anti-piracy measures. They release new firmware updates for both the PSP and PS3 that prevent you from running any software that is not legal or approved of by Sony. If you don’t download the updates from Sony, you often are locked out of enjoying certain features that have been added to each of those consoles. Their are ways around firmware, but since it probably violates Yahoo’s TOS to mention it here, Iwon’t. You’re on you’re own buddy. Psssst! Google is your friend!
