Cris, what was it like to dance/work with Michael Jackson?
“It was the highlight of my career. It was such an amazing experience. He was a perfectionist and a great man. You would take so much from his presence and his energy. It is something I’ll never forget. I toured with him in the ’90s with “Dangerous” and we once performed on the Radio City stage. Now everything is coming full circle. When Gil [Duldulao] asked us to dance at the VMAs with Janet, it felt like everything came back. It was a great experience.” Who was the most memorable person you choreographed for? Michaels said Celine Dion with her show “A New Day.” Friedman said Prince. Duldulao said Tina Turner. “She rocked my world spiritually. She was fearless, and she loved the pony.” Judd said Nicole Kidman. “It was a cool experience to work with scenes and dialogue and having to make it flow.” What’s the reason you started dancing? Judd said it was because of a girl. She was a dancer he met while working for Disney who told him she wouldn’t date him because he was a character [Plut
