As described above, code 32002 has been deleted, and for 2008 is replaced by 32422 Thoracentesis with insertion of tube, includes water seal (eg, for pneumothorax), when performed (separate procedure). CPT 76942 can be reported separately for ultrasound imaging supervision and interpretation.
