o The American Guild of Court Videographers (AGCV) states that, it is the only organization in the United States that is training and certifying professional videographers in all aspects of legal video, including preparation of the evidence so that it cannot be impeached. o AGCV is committed to the highest standards of the legal profession by adhering to Rule 30 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Evidence. In addition, Southern California members adhere to California Code of Civil Procedure and Southern California deposition protocol. o AGCV certification starts with professional videographers who receive textbook and practical training from AGCV board members. In addition, for a AGCV member to successfully receive Certified Court Videographer standing (CCVS), an extensive written test must be passed, and an on-site practical/production test in legal video depositions.
