Course Fee What is the fee for an IDEAL-NM course?
The cost per .5 credit course is $200 per student, per semester. All IDEAL-NM courses are textbook independent, so the school/district will not incur any costs related to textbooks. IDEAL-NM courses are taught by highly qualified New Mexico teachers and are highly interactive. Students receive individualized attention and high quality instruction. For FY 09, one semester scholarship has been offered to each public and private high school in New Mexico. In addition, each of New Mexico’s nine Regional Education Cooperatives will receive $200 for each semester registration from a member district, up to a limit of $20,000. For FY 09, 325 state-paid semester seats are available for Advanced Placement courses.
