Couldnt I simply apply two materials in layers?
Using an E-A-R multi-layer, multi-function composite is much less labor-intensive and far more reliable than adhering two materials in separate layers. E-A-R manufactures ISOLOSS NV composites by a proprietary process in which the layers and adhesive package are laid down and cured in a single pass through the production line. The chemical bond formed during the curing process effectively resists delamination.
