Could you tell us more about the mysterious person, EdM, who is thanked for in Blanks releases?
EdM is our sound engineer and co-producer and also our biggest friend. We can say it’s our Guru and Guide through the impervious paths of digital sound processing. Without him and his precious advice, work and studio, Blank wouldn’t probably exist. The final mixing and post-production of all of our material has been done entirely in his studio since the beginning of Blank, in 1999. How is the industrial scene in Italy? In short, too small to be considered a real scene. There are several good bands, composers and projects, several good DJs, but just a few clubs, and a very small following. It’s more like a baby moving his first steps… Have you ever thought of doing any remixes with other bands of a different sub genre of electronic music? (I.e. techno, trance, etc. bands) Of course! We’re big fans of techno and trance music and would really love to work with some artist in those genres.
