Could you help a tired student with her English assignment, regarding the book “Lorna Doone”?
For the month of May, I had to read the novel Lorna Doone by R.D. Blackmore. I finished the novel about two weeks ago (it was somewhat boring, I admit it) and have been concentrating on my English reading assignment ever since. There’s just one little thing that’s been bugging me for the past months and I can’t seem to find the answer to it. We have to choose a container for our presentation. It has to reflect the book in a general way. (The box/container will contain five objects that depict the story in some way… But I already have those.) I’ve thought about getting a colossal, heart-shaped box of chocolates because Lorna Doone is a love story, but I can’t find one that’s big enough. I also thought about taking a shoe box and decorating it’s interior to resemble a church, because that’s where Lorna was shot near the end of the novel.
