Could we not avoid “tragic accidents” by properly regulating air guns?
You are absolutely right. This is so sad. I actually read this article this morning and was thinking all day about it. All weapons of this kind need to be regulated properly. Looking at the law in the UK there seems to be loopholes Only air rifles that generate a certain amount of energy are considered fire arms and thus needing a fire-arm certificate. other air guns don’t require fire arm certs New air-gun legislation that out laws sale online/mai order doesn’t apply to second hand guns, only new guns Deaths occur every year. Last year a 17 year old died, year before a 12 year old died.
