Could us army have beaten the red army in ww2?
A British study concluded that a war with the USSR should be avoided at all cost. Soviets had the men, good equipment and the mentality to sacrifice all to win. The American public had enough of war at the time and it did not seem likely they would support a war. Army versus army, without the atomic weapon, advantage going to the Soviets.
