Could u recommend me any good restaurant in Catania(Sicily)?
I’ve been to this one in Catania to have the famous rice dish called “Ripiddu Nivicatu” made with cuttle fish ink (so the rice is jet black) and it’s topped with some ricotta and a bit of red sauce… It’s all supposed to look like the Etna. The wine list to very good. It’s nice and spicy (not hot) and delicious. There are many “tavola calda” where you’ll find many of the famous “arancine” – baseball sized fried rice balls stuffed with everything from ragu to butter and cheese. You can even sit to eat in many of these places. But for a good sit down dinner try the place I’ve mentioned above. I’ve been there several times over the many years and the meals have always been very good.
