Question submitted September 12, 2006: I have had depersonalization and derealization for two years now. I have been diagnosed with anxiety. It happened after a doctor put me on the birth control patch six weeks after I had my daughter. I refused antidepressants. Will this ever go away? I’ve returned to school, I’ve run three half marathons, and I’ve been more productive than ever, but living in a dream is just too much. I want to have another baby, but I keep putting it off until I get rid of this. I am currently on 1/2 of 0.5 mg of Klonopin. This is getting to be a drag. Any help, except help that requires medication, is what I want. What are my chances of this happening after my next pregnancy?
