Could the macro universe define the shape of the quantum universe?
As far as we know, it is all the same universe. I don’t think you are wrong in the sense that physical laws governing the macro level may drive quantum reality, or vice-versa. However, the nature of quantum reality is so foreign that we are struggling to even define how it behaves, not to mention why. So I don’t really think we know which level of reality is dominant, or even if one is. It may appear that the quantum level is dominant, based on the amount of work that is currently being done there. I for one do not think that we should jump to that conclusion, and I suspect my perception is shared by most scientists.
