Could The iPhone See Automatic Volume Control?
Surely some have heard of the new patent which calls for automatic volume control. For those who have not, it is a patent for the automatic volume decreasing over time, which is performed by the device (iPod). After the software has determined how long an individual has been listening to his /her iPod and at what volume, it will tone down the volume as necessary to protect the hearing of user. As if people cannot control volume on their own. I do admit, some may not notice the effects on their hearing, but I would like the option to turn this function off if necessary. If this feature does get implemented, I would welcome it. But I would like to be able to destroy my ears, if needed, without the interference of the volume control feature. Since the iPhone is the “best iPod,”(iPod touch and iPhone are tied) there is a chance that this feature will come in a future firmware update. What is left is whether the public will welcome the feature, or shun it. Would you enjoy such a feature on
