Could the crucifixion be considered suicide?

Jesus, if he was actually the son of God, would have been fully capable of escaping – but he would have gone along with the crucifixion as he knew it was God’s will for him to be sacrificed for the sins of mankind – therefore implicating suicide. However, it was more likely murder because Jesus was definitely not the son of God or the messiah anyway. I believe Jesus died proclaiming to be a martyr because there was no possibility to escape death regardless.
