Could the biosphere declare war on H. Sapiens?
: The plant that is the closest relative to the plant from which marijuana and hemp are harvested is the plant that grows hops. Hops are an essential ingredient in the brewing of beer. There are at least two ways that H. Sapiens could soon meet its end. Even during recorded history there have been natural disasters that if they happened today would kill millions of people. There are now over six and a half billion people living on the earth – and the earth cannot possibly sustain that many people. It is almost certain that at least some of them – maybe quite a few – will perish in natural disasters. There has never been a natural disaster where even a million people have died… at least not yet. The entire biosphere can be thought of as a single very old organism, which is done by thinking of time as a sort of forth spatial dimension.
