Could that volcano in Iceland be halted by detonating an atomic bomb inside it?
The atomic bomb would probably cause more harm than good. The radiation alone would be enough for me to say no. It can be carried by wind to different parts of the world, not to mention that the place in which the atomic bomb was detonated in would be uninhabitable for years and years. The damaged caused by the bomb would be more far reaching than what the Volcano would do.
