yes it can worsen cirrhosis as it has other things it that are bad for the liver she should be taking oxy her liver is enlarged and yes it is hard to breath her lungs could fill with water and she could drown in her own water retention laxis works but it sound like she needs to be submitted right a way if she is throwing up and looks like coffee ground she is throwing up blood and could die from blood loss has she been drinking her thinking can become impaired take her to er right away I know I have the same thing but I also am a diabetic go now go now don’t wait call the fire dept or ambulance
