Could taking Adepix (a weight-loss drug), decrease the effectiveness of Depo-Provera?
Hello, I have been on Depo for over 4 years and at the beginning of this month I decided that I wanted to switch over to pills. Before I even started the pills I noticed tenderness in my breast. I’m somewhat used to that, but this time it has last longer than I’m use to. Over the last 3 months I have also been taking Adepix, a weight loss drug. I found out that this drug affects some medication, making them not work any more. On the list there were a couple different types of birth controls but Depo was not on the list. I’m still scared that it might have affected my Depo because of the pregnancy symptoms. I want to know can this be possible or is it all in my head? Pregnancy is always possible even if you took your Depo injections perfectly on schedule.
