Could super saiyan 3 Goku beat broly?
For the plothole for Broly’s death, I think I can find out how. Broly always gains power in his LSSJ form. Later though, he has to release it. This was shown in the first movie. That’s probably how Goku beat him. He probably sensed that Broly was at (or near) his maximum energy, and had to release it, so he punched him in his stomach (where he was cut as a baby, so it was probably weaker than the other spots) and overloaded his body with energy. Also, Broly at most is probably at Super Perfect Cell.
