Could stinging skin be a symptom of diabetes type 2?
When you mention that you have had a “thorough blood test” I assume you had a fasting blood glucose test. This is one of the more appropriate tests to determine diabetes. If this is true, then presumably your doctor would have told you if you had diabetes. True, certain skin sensations can be symptomatic of poorly controlled diabetes, typically related to nerve damage.
