Could Stimuzyme D200® be used in flooding arrangements?

A9: The ultimate use of the enzyme technology to obtain actual enhanced oil recovery, reduce the residual oil saturation and reach increased oil production, is to apply the technology in an oilfield consisting of more than two wells for “water flooding” projects. Example: After the production phase has started, in an oilfield consisting of ten wells, the enzymes will be injected to each individual well simultaneously. Typically only seven wells out of the ten could be selected, which have the “least positive-skins”, as the oil producers. The remaining three wells will be used as the injection wells where enzyme is added to the injection water. In this water-flooding method, the oil released by enzymes, can be driven towards the seven target-production wells. In this way, the oil-bearing formation can be water flooded to recover “the enzyme released free oil”, which will maximize the total oil recovery.
