Could sonagram be wrong @ 20 weeks pregnant?

It can definitely be wrong. There is more of a possibility that it is wrong when they say it is a girl b/c “it” could be hiding. I am pregnant right now and due in a few days…I’m having a boy. My husband’s cousin (she already gave birth but we were due at the same time) was told she was having a girl. I’m not exactly sure why she had a second sonogram a few weeks later, but she did, and they discovered “she” was really a “he”. Good thing they found out then! I would be so upset if I had decorated for a girl and then had a boy!

Yes some doctors can be wrong when i took my 1st sonogram at 5 months the Doctor said it was a boy! When i took the last sonogram at 8 months the Doctor told me it was a girl but i knew my beautiful little boy was a boy and not a girl! Mother of one and a little girl on the way!

It can happen, but very unlikely. They are usually pretty accurate at 20 weeks. I had my first ultrasound at 16 weeks and they predicted a girl, and thats what I had. Congrats on the Little Girl!!!!

They are never 100% sure. Therefore they can always be wrong but it is unlikely. My first baby I was told it was a boy and it was so I’m believing them with this one!
