And if you take into account the brand name, if a brand name is more reputable and recognisable, they are generally more expensive. Why? Because they know that if they jack the prices up, people will still buy it. Marketing is targetted at the masses with the assumption that the consumer is always an idiot. It’s kind of pathetic and fascinating at the same time.
