Could someone name some current laptop models that are compatible with Windows XP?
Here is a link that lists all laptop models that have an XP downgrade option. The laptop will come preinstalled with XP but the license is actually for Vista and the laptop can have Vista installed at any time for zero cost. Unfortunately good deals will not likely be found in this business crowd due to the specific details of Microsoft’s downgrade polily which essentially equates XP Professional with Vista Business. http://www.zdnet.com.au/insight/software… Right now it seems that there is an extra cost associated with XP and since the main resource that Vista likes is RAM and RAM is really cheap, the extra cost of XP applied to RAM instead should fix the “resource hog” issue.
