Could someone list Empire Magazines Top 5 Comic Book characters for me?
1. Batman – Yeah Superman is the icon, but so is Batman and quite frankly I can think of a lot more classic Batman stories than stories about the Big Man. The prototypical street level superhero. 2. Superman – Pretty much any list with out him there is a joke. And he’s a pretty damn good character too despite what some people might say. Pretty much the powerhouse prototype and the prototype for super heroes in general. 3. Spider-Man – This is half me believing he belongs right there with the two name above him and half personal preference but there is no denying the character is as big and nearly as important to modern comics as the two names above him. 4. Green Arrow – Near unparalleled influence on the medium when it comes to serious issues being covered. And with the possible exception of Batman I can’t think of a single character DC has that has had as many great stories about him. 5.
