Could someone explain the genesis chapter two cause it is a bit confusing?
Genesis Chapter 2: By the seventh day God finished the work he had been doing, so he rested. He blessed the seventh day and made it a holy day. Then God made the first man. When the Lord God first made the earth and sky, where were still no plants on the earth. Nothing was growing because God had not yet made it rain. There was no person to care for the ground. So God took dust from the ground and formed a man from it. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nose and he because a living person. Next God planted a garden in the east called Eden and put the man in it. God caused trees to grow and produce food out of the ground. God also put a tree that gave the knowledge of good and evil. There was a river that flowed through Eden and watered the garden and four rivers branched out. Then God gave the man a command that He may eat the fruit from any tree in the garden but not eat the fruit from the tree that gives the knowledge of good and evil.
