Could someone describe what the burgess model and hoyt…?
Well burgess model is just concentric circles. He believed that a city expands from the middle (CBD) and that the more expensive housing is found the further you get away from CBD. Hoyt model had concentric circles as well as sectors. The sectors were city expanding alongside transport links e.g. railway lines or main roads.
