Could she have staph infection?

Yes, they both could get it and so could you. It is highly contagious. S. aureus (staph) including MRSA can be spread among people having close contact with infected people. MRSA is almost always spread by direct physical contact and not through the air. Spread may also occur through indirect contact by touching objects (e.g., towels, sheets, wound dressings, clothes, workout areas, or sports equipment) contaminated by the infected skin of a person with staph bacteria or MRSA. Make sure you, your child, and the baby WASH, WASH, WASH your hands. Wash down everything that you or your child may have come in contact with(e.g., toys, tables, counters,..etc….) You can go to the store and buy that “Lysol” cleanser, the concentrated kind and wipe down EVERYTHING. Good Luck!
