My sister in law in India just delivered her baby at 38 weeeks by c-section .she was diag with GD and was on insulin shots since 20 weeks.Everthing was OK until her 38th week,when suddenly she started noticing swelling all over and vomiting.BP was at 140/90 and since baby was at 8pounds they decided to have a c-section.After 4 days at hospital and assuming normal conditions they returned home.After a day ,she developed multiple seizures and is still at ICU under sedation sinec last 3 days.Drs have done all blood work/MRI etc and found everything to be normal.Could this be eclampsia -can it occur after delvery?Any tests I can suggest from here.Hoping everything works out fine.
