Sadly the movie “The Day After Tomorrow” is an example of the media hype, exaggerations and fabrication associated with the topic of Global Warming. Actually the science on Global Warming in very good. Unfortunately people who are hostile to addressing the subject of Global Warming use the ridiculous exagerration and fabrication in movies such as “The Day After Tomorrow” to damage the credibility of serious scientists who do solid research on the subject of Global Warming. Ridiculous movies such as “The Day After Tomorrow” do far more harm than good with respect to the general knowledge and awareness of Global Warming among members of the lay public.
