Could poison be a symbol of the theme of revenge in Hamlet?

0

There’s no definite symbol for revenge in Hamlet. Only two characters were killed by poison, if I remember right (King Hamlet and Gertrude). The rest were either by rapier, drowning or beheading. You could get away with using poison as a symbol for revenge, but it’s not the only one. Revenge is more of a theme is Hamlet. -Kekoa Edit: Just remembered Laertes and Hamlet die from the same poisoned rapier.
