OJ could not be tried under federal civil rights law because he is a private citizen not a state actor.

Yes, I belive that OJ could be tried for violating Nicole and Ron’s civil rights. This was not done in 1995 because there would have been huge moral outrage from the black community. It cannot be done today because the statute of limitations has expired, I believe. Remember, he would be tried for civil rights violations, not murder (for which there is not a statute of limitation).
