Could Obamas Rise Signal The End Of Black Victimology?

Given the fact that these poor black people were born and have lived their entire lives in the US, it is impossible for them to “return to Africa” – a place that they’ve probably never been and have no direct connect to. Additionally, it is quite obvious that the US has better economic conditions than most African nations. However, I find it very interesting that whenever black people speak about the inequalities that still exist, there is often a subtle (or not so subtle) inference that we should go back to African.
