Potential sources for EnergyFiles must be reviewed for relevant content and appropriate format. All resources must support research in an energy-related disciplinary area. The reputation of the information owner, accuracy of the information, and evidence of site maintenance are important factors. Our priority is to focus on .gov resources, but we do include other types of sites if they meet our collection development criteria.
