Jeremy Yablonski. The mere whispering of his name should simultaneously bring fear into opposing enforcers and an unstoppable fit of laughter into opposing goaltenders. And I’m not going to lie, ever since he was brought into the Ottawa Senators organization for the 2007-08 season, I’ve wanted to see this guy suit up for an NHL game. Not because I think he’s an everyday NHLer–he’s barely got the skills to be an everyday AHLer–but I do think he’s lost some blood for this organization, and it’d be awesome to see him in just one Sens game. And it just might happen. As reported by Michael Sharp of the Binghamton Press & Sun Bulletin, the Senators signed Yabo to a one-year, two-way contract for a reason–and Assistant GM Tim Murray says that he”can envision [Yablonski] playing some [NHL] games”.
