Could insect repellent trigger photoallergic eruptions?

Does anyone know if insect-repellent sprays can trigger photoallergic eruptions?? I have searched the net but can’t find too much info. For those that don’t know, a photoallergic eruption is severe skin rashing and burning caused by the combination of sunlight and some chemical. My mother keeps getting these eruptions when she goes to my dad’s house and we’re trying to eliminate all possible causes, but don’t know where to start so we thought that maybe insect repellent could be the cullprit as my dad uses a lot of that. Your help would be appreciated! Thanx!!
