Could I make my dark brown hair blonde with bleach from Sallys?
Ummm, the bleach they use at the salon may be the same as the bleach from Sally’s but believe me, a cosmetologist can do it a lot better than you can. They will also use treatments on your hair so that the bleach will not completely damage your tresses plus, they can see what theyr’e doing to the back of your head, where as you may not, resulting in the color being completely uneven. I wouldn’t reccomend it. I had dark brown to medium brown hair and i wanted it platinum blond. Even with this chick helping me, I ended up bleaching it twice, this is on shoulderlength hair, still not getting the desired effect, and my hair color was all uneven not to mention fried crispy. A high price to pay. When you bleach your hair, the darker it is, all the dark is going to come out with the bleach and turn to red. Then, you have to bleach the red out. A cosmetologist would be able to do this with minimal fuss. Also, if you want to touch it up on your own, I would think it doesn’t matter what product
