Could I have 3 home pregnancy tests come back positive and still not be pregnant?
There is a range of error with all flaws. It is totally possible that all three home kits were false positives, it happens. The doctors have the best equipment, but those tests can also be false. You may want to go back to the doctor and get another test. Chances are that you were pregnant and miscarried. People don’t realize how often miscarriages happen through nature; the egg doesn’t stick, there is a problem with the original RNA when it copied and the cells weren’t able to develop, etc. etc. Natural miscarriages happen every day, that was probably the case with you but go back to the doctor if you’re still not sure. It’s almost impossible to get a positive if you are not. Usually, it takes some weird medical condition or very interesting medication to get a false positive. It is possible that for that one test, your urine was too dilute to register. The test measures for hGC (pregnancy hormone) and if the level is too low it will say “negative”. Different brands have different sensitivities; before and around when your period is due is pretty early for some brands. Take another test, use first sample of the morning (the most concentrated) and if it says positive, it will just confirm what the other tests said. Good luck and congrats!
Well that is sort of weird because if you took so many at home pregnancy tests that came out positive, you would think your pregnant! If you period is late and stuff you could still be pregnant! Try taking another at home test, or schedule another doctor appointment maybe just wait for your period for a week before doing this…!
