Yes, Germany could have won WWII. If they had collared the Allies at Dunkirk, it would have left Britain with only 4 divisions in Britain. Churchill would most likely have been forced out of office & Britain would have sued for peace. If they hadn’t, then the Germans could have moved into North Africa in July/40 & swept through to Iran & down the Eastern coast of Africa by early 1941, with little use of resources. Britain would have lost further forces & would be impotent other than naval blockade & bombing. But with African territories & Middle East oil fields, the blockade would be immaterial. This would have taken place prior to Italy invading Greece. Greece was pro German & would have probably joined the Axis, with Germans in Iraq. Turkey would have followed suit. Furthermore, without an Army, Britain would have been forced to take further civilians out of the work force immediately, production of arms would have temporarily fallen, just when they needed them.
